When the 7th showed up to Incirlik and replaced the 8th we also replaced their intramural softball team. The 8th had set an amazing record being the top team in the league only losing one game. So far in the first four games the 7th has played we’ve only been able to win one, however, we still are in contention for Commander’s Trophy and we will not give up with the playoffs coming up.
7-7-07 day went off with out a hitch. With a little help from a bootleg operation we were able to get brats and beer from Deutchesland. Lt Col Newberry gave some complimentary remarks to the airmen follwed by a slide presentation illustrating the 7th’s monumental past. To top it all of there was vanilla and chocolate cake. Try not to feel to sorry for us. These pictures are not for the faint of heart. We are roughing it, but we drive on one day at a time…..one day at a time.
